FOR Receives Donation to Complete Union Infantry Markers
Friends of Raymond is delighted to announce that John L. Nau, III, CEO of Eagle Distributors, L.P., the nations largest distributor of Anheuser -Busch products and an FOR General, has provided a matching donation to manufacture and install Union infantry markers on the Raymond Military Park.
John has been a long time supporter of the Friends of Raymond’s preservation and interpretation efforts at the site of the Battle of Raymond. FOR is very grateful to Mr. Nau for his generous support.
Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Parker Hills will manage this project for FOR and anticipates that the markers will be installed by early spring. FOR will be provid- ing more details in our spring newsletter.
